Crypto prices today: Bitcoin above $17,000 mark, Solana, Ethereum & XRP spike
By Nidhi Bhardwaj: After witnessing a rough Monday, crypto prices on 13 December remained in the green. The global crypto market cap increased by 0.83 percent to $847.21B, followed by a spike in the total crypto market volume of 12.07 percent to $33.38B. The price of Bitcoin stood at $17,150.57, to notice a 1.34 percent increase from its yesterday low of $16000 mark.
The price of Ethereum as of (0930 IST) is up 1.99 percent to trade at $1,268.49, in contrast to its previous day loss of 2 percent. The other cryptocurrencies like Solana also grew by 0.71 percent to $13.04, the value of XRP increased by 1.40 percent to $0.379456, and Cardano rose by 0.29 percent to $0.303531. On the other hand, BNB declined by 5.67 percent to $266.24.
According to CoinMarketCap, today’s top gainers include Bitcoin SV, Neutrino USD, Dash, and Stacks with current growth rates of 8.54 percent, 7.91 percent, 7.90 percent, and 7.01 percent, respectively. On the other hand, Trust Wallet, Pancake Swap, BNB, and Chain were among the top losers.
Shiba Inu, Dogecoin and Dogelon Mars increases
As the market recovered from the last day, meme coins also grew. The value of Shiba Inu rose by 0.43 percent to $0.000009. Dogecoin advanced by 2.24 percent to $0.089694. And the Meme Coin price surged by 7.96 percent to $0.023611. The value of Dogelon Mars increased by 1.30 to $3.31e-7.
Metaverse Tokens traded mix
The metaverse tokens traded mixed in the last 24 hours. The value of one of the top metaverse tokens, Decentraland, increased by 0.22 percent to $0.378722. Axie Infinity noticed a drop of 2.19 percent to $7.50, along with a decrease in Sandbox by 0.71 percent to $0.549938.
